Yoga is the Sanskrit word for “union”.
Here in North America we know it mainly as a series
of movements that increase strength and flexibility.
It is also said that Yoga reduces stress and sharpens
focus.
Yoga does indeed do these things. It balances
the skeletal, muscular, nervous, circulatory and
digestive systems. But in the land of its origins,
Yoga is also a spiritual path; one’s physical
health cannot be separated from one’s psychological
and spiritual well-being.
Yoga with Casey is an experience of this holistic
approach. Patience, self-acceptance and a non-judgmental
attitude are encouraged, making the practice suitable
for persons of all ages and fitness levels.
